Things I've built.

What I build when I have substantial ownership — production platforms for real organizations, independent products, AI experiments and things made simply to explore an idea.

  1. The San-I-Pak customer portal on two laptops, showing Service Docs and Biological Indicator Records screens. Captions read: California Department of Public Health approved, and deployed across 200+ medical facilities.

A customer portal for software that runs inside hospitals.

A customer portal for a healthcare technology company, part of a California Department of Public Health approved solution deployed across 200+ medical facilities.

Healthcare is unforgiving software territory. The people using it are busy, the environments are regulated, and reliability isn't a feature — it's the baseline.

The portal gives the company's customers a single, dependable place to manage the operational side of their work — records, service documentation and more — for a product that holds California Department of Public Health approval and is deployed across 200+ medical facilities.

  2. The Herrick Hub sign-in screen on a laptop at a steel construction site, beside a summary of the platform: department-specific AI assistants, company-specific LLM experiences, AI-powered onboarding, internal collaboration, and centralized knowledge and resources.

Internal application — product screens intentionally private.

100+ years of steel. A new layer of intelligence.

An AI-enabled internal platform for Herrick Steel, a company with more than a century of history — with AI assistants grounded in company-specific knowledge.

A company that has worked in steel for over a hundred years knows a great deal. The challenge is making that knowledge easy to find, share and learn from — for someone who joined last week as much as for someone who has been there for decades.

Herrick Hub brings the foundations of an internal platform — company updates, field boards, a directory, documents and resources — together with department-specific AI assistants and AI-powered onboarding, grounded in the company's own knowledge rather than generic answers.

Putting AI inside an organization is where responsible AI stops being abstract: what an assistant should answer, whose knowledge it draws on, and how people stay in charge of the information it uses.

  3. The Pattons Steel quote portal on two laptops: a product catalogue of aluminum angles with Add to Quote buttons, and an order overview showing payment and fulfillment status.

    • Client project

Steel purchasing, rebuilt around how B2B buyers actually work.

A custom quote-to-order platform that lets metal buyers browse products, request quotes, place orders and track their status.

B2B buying still runs on emails, phone calls and spreadsheets more often than anyone would admit. Quotes are slow to request, slow to produce and hard to track — and a steel catalogue, with its metals, shapes and dimensions, is far from simple to navigate.

Instead of forcing a retail checkout onto a business process, the platform is designed around the real workflow: from finding the right product to requesting a quote, turning it into an order and following it through to delivery.
